This movie is about EVERY woman\u2019s journey with her hair and the symbology of hair in this and throughout \u00a0all cultures. \u00a0I am so proud to be a part of this project and I think that Sanaa\u2019s devotion to her role is breathtaking. \u00a0( She blew up twitter and almost shut down the internet when she finally shaved her head !)<\/p>\n<div class=\"embedded-video\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"IMG_1820_1\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/234050410\" width=\"360\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div class=\"embedded-video\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"IMG_1820\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/234050304\" width=\"540\" height=\"676\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1932\" src=\"https:\/\/theburlyq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/IMG_1746-150x150.jpeg\" sizes=\"auto, 150px\" alt=\"\" width=\"281\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1934\" src=\"https:\/\/theburlyq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/IMG_1943-150x150.jpeg\" sizes=\"auto, 150px\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"275\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This process and the character development is gradual and integral to the story. I will only reveal some behind the scenes fun, as well as to say that my inspiration for the make ups has varied with the hair designed by Larry Sims the fabulous, as we must create in concert with one another.<\/p>\n<p>Sanaa is quite glamorous with various hair looks. \u00a0Depending upon which hair look, \u00a0either the eyes were accentuated or the lips. \u00a0In all cases, I have chosen muted peaches for her lips mostly, and particularly when bald, I have elected to not have lashes, and merely sculpt her beautiful features so that she looks even more as a Nubian goddess.<\/p>\n<p>Below are two inspirations\u00a0for the muted versus bold looks for the requisite scenes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1929\" src=\"https:\/\/theburlyq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/c28be6aa779cfe1d88e555a1e6be649f-150x150.jpeg\" sizes=\"auto, 150px\" alt=\"\" width=\"322\" height=\"322\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1926\" src=\"https:\/\/theburlyq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/6b553995aae7150f163b819061d0d246-150x150.jpeg\" sizes=\"auto, 150px\" alt=\"\" width=\"326\" height=\"326\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nude lips, sculpted bone structure . \u00a0Dita Von Teese, NYX, Dior \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a02: Bold lips and a more dramatic eye for an evening statement. MAC, Nars, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juliehewettla.com\">Julie Hewett<\/a> newsprint bleu<br \/>\nI have drawn inspiration from this beautiful under eyes twenties look which I adore in it\u2019s exotic simplicity.<br \/>\nMac Mascara , Tom Ford eyeshadows, Trish McEvoy dark shadow liners, mac Lipstick with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juliehewettla.com\">Julie Hewett<\/a> camellia \u00a0lip Balm<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1933\" src=\"https:\/\/theburlyq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/IMG_1800-150x150.jpeg\" sizes=\"auto, 150px\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"259\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And these muted peaches and soft bronzes worn by Chloe Kardashian which look stunning on film.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1931\" src=\"https:\/\/theburlyq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ff5a376a36b2a8306976b1b858b6beb9-150x150.jpeg\" sizes=\"auto, 150px\" alt=\"\" width=\"265\" height=\"265\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I am using Dior shadows, Mac Ruby Woo lipstick, MAC Mascaras\u2026. a lot of MAC!!! Nars duos which are stunning Charlotte Tilbury, Dior gorgeous 5 palette , Chanel.
